Park Ridge Football & Cheer

To all Parents/Coaches-

Wow!  In what has become one of the most memorable of all years for a multitude of reasons we have been able to get through a remarkable season! Special Thanks to Board Members Rob Leach, Roy Hoffman, Katie Brania, Mel Thillens, Matt Colleran, Kristin Zabratanski , Garry Abezetian and John Capesius without whose endless hours we simply could not have functioned this season!

This year especially I would like to state our profound gratitude to all Board Members/Parents/Coaches and Young Student Athletes. You all did a remarkable job of adhering to an ever changing set of guidelines, working within the guidelines laid out by our governor and creating the most positive experience we knew how to under those circumstances. The good news is that I spoke with literally hundreds of parents and young student athletes personally throughout the season who were filled with gratitude in having an environment for outdoor recreation lacking in most nearby communities and throughout the state.

The easy choice in the late Spring and Summer would have been to simply cancel the season and save hundreds of volunteers from all the stress that comes from adhering to these rules in a scary environment. The difficult choice was that 9 Board Members and 150+ Volunteers stepped up to the plate in an amazing fashion!

As always we welcome any feedback because our Board spends the entire offseason preparing for the next season and also discussing ways to improve the experience for parents, players and coaches alike

Please remember that as we have closed the Season on Football (Falcons Travel Tackle and Flag Football) and Spirit Cheer; we are still in the midst of our Competitive Cheerleaders Competitions. Please support these remarkable young ladies as they continue forth in their season. Also look for information regarding our first ever Falcons Tackle Football Spring Season as we follow the ever changing guidelines from the state.

Thank you all and see you next season!
